International Ministry
In Christ Ministries has been privileged to share the life-transforming power of small group life-on-life discipleship internationally. We have been able to take advantage of opportunities to travel to the countries of Egypt and Sudan in Africa and there provide training to local believers and churches in intentional discipleship.
In Christ Ministries has partnered with Robert Lobung, pastor of Ambassadors of Christ Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Robert is a Sudanese immigrant who has maintained strong ties with his homeland. In late 2013, Carol Corn and Cortez Ragland travelled with him to Juba, South Sudan, under the invitation of Diocesan Bishop Enock Tombe of the Episcopal Church of Sudan, and there participated in the church's Pastors' Leadership Conference. Robert spoke on giving, Carol on women in ministry, and Cortez on the church and discipleship.
In previous years, In Christ Ministries has given training in intentional discipleship to the Sudanese church in Cairo, Egypt, and worked with HOME (Health Outreach to the Middle East) in Egypt to provide training in intentional discipleship to Egyptian believers.
